Information about Visiting our Highlands

While we love to show off our Highland cows, for your safety, guests are not permitted to enter the fenced-in areas with the Highlands at this time. As they continue to grow, they can be a bit unaware of their size and strength! Our friendly cows can weigh over 500lbs and sometimes forget about their horns, so we interact with them safely through their fences. They’re super sweet, but always remember—they’re cows, not big dogs!

For everyone's safety, we ask that you interact with our Highland Cows through their fence. While they may look like big dogs, they are still cows! They are super friendly and will happily come right up to the fence to greet you, and they love getting pets and treats (provided by us) during our Agritourism Events, including Private Farm Events, Farm Tours, Fall Fest, and Coleman's Countdown to Christmas.

Exciting News – Baby Highlands Coming Soon!

We are beyond excited to announce that, starting in July (fingers crossed!), we will have our very own Baby Highlands! We’ve started the breeding process using IVF and dairy cows as surrogates. Once our babies arrive, we’ll be able to offer guests the chance to interact directly with our adorable little ones! Keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates and more details.

Welcome to A & S Highlands! We’re Andrew and Shaina, the proud owners and the caretakers of our beloved Highland cows: Darcy, Daphne, Darla, and Willie.

Our journey into the world of Highland cattle began in July 2023, but it’s a dream we’ve both shared for years. As animal lovers, we’re beyond excited to finally bring this vision to life and share it with you.

A bit about us:

• Andrew: A Delaware Valley University graduate with a degree in Agribusiness, Andrew is deeply rooted in farming. He’s the co-owner of Coleman Hay Farms alongside his brother, and also runs his own contracting business.
• Shaina: With a Bachelor’s in Animal Science and an MBA in business both from Delaware Valley University, Shaina has a strong background in both the animal industry and business. She works full-time for Merck, while also lending her expertise as a part-time Veterinary Manager and Vet Assistant.

Beyond the farm, we’re passionate about our growing family of animals:

• Highland Cows: Darcy, Daphne, Darla, and Willie
• Nigerian Dwarf Goats: Nellie, Millie, Fae, and Fiona
• Our Dogs: Harley, Georgia, and Dallas
• Barn Cats: Maisy and Daisy

When we're not tending to our animals, you can find us camping, boating, riding ATVs,, traveling, reading, or spending time with family and friends. We truly believe that life on the farm is a journey, and we’re so grateful to have you along for the ride.
